The Chive is a Ken Onion design featuring a hollow-ground clip point blade of 420 stainless steel black carbide coated blade. An index trigger serves both as both an ambidextrous opening aid and as a finger guard when the blade is deployed. A push on the trigger activates the Speed Safe torsion bar technology to quickly spring the blade open. A notched thumb ramp of the blade provides a secure placement for the index finger or thumb to rest on during use.
